“Power supply units of machines are less efficient. They can be made up to 90% efficient, though they are more expensive.
Multi-core processors solve the problem a bit, but there should be enough threads.”
(!) just another weblog

“Crosstalk at CMOS level, considering their shrinking size. Disk drive failures are increasing…”
Free beer and wine, and supposedly delicious hors d’oeuvres… ( i didn’t try any …yet!)
Mike here is giving out deets on the next in the Speaker series..
Am sitting here at the Google’s NYC office… they have a Speaker series and i got myself invited.
So we’re all gathered here, and all guys are like filling in slowly. the talk was supposed to start at 7ish, but then the rush is so much that they’re still settling down.
Okay…just starting…
Awesome… Kimmi is the man! and so is Hamilton… podium and all… way to go!
The F1.com website will do a pretty good job of winding it up… i think i saw more commercials than the race…
How i wish i had a TiVo set up somewhere… where there were better commentators…
At last… they have updated the site with the race results… (i was refreshing it like twice every second till now…)
They still haven’t got the fastest laps in yet!
And these guys are showing commercials again!
Okay, i’m outta here…
The battle is on for the 5th position… can Massa pass Fischicella? The gap is like 0.555 secs…
2 laps to go!
Whoa…
Coulthard and Wurtz just crashed! And these guys are laughing! i can’t believe them… the car just flew over Wurtz’ head! Good he wasn’t hurt… both are out!
only 6 laps remaining now… Kimi #1, Alonso #2, and Hamilton #3… unless there are some surprises in store for us!
Kimi back to pole….whoa…what’s happening… with about 12 laps to go, he’s running on the grass…. steady now kimi…
Massa at #6 now… behind Heidfield, i think… (another commercial break!)
Webber does a 360 in the pit lane!!
Alonso on pole, with a 5.xxx gap between him and Kimi. and about 20 secs between him and Hamilton… but a podium finish on the debut race is amazing!
Too many near misses in and out of the pits here…
And the commentators are doing a fine job not to put in any emotion in that…these guys suck… big time… it’s official!
1:25:235!!
Way to go!!
Pit stop #2 for Kimi… and comes out at #3 with 16 laps to go… Hamilton at #1 now… a brief time for celebration!
Meanwhile, someone (new guy) did a 360 and Massa passed him easily… he’s on #7 I think…
